40th Annual Relics & Rods Run to the Sun
Date: Thursday, October 19 – Sunday, 22
One of the largest car shows in the Southwest is returning to Lake Havasu City!
The 40th Annual Relics & Rods Run to the Sun kicks off this Thursday evening at the Relics and Rods “Cruise Night” from 5-9 p.m. on Lake Havasu City’s McCulloch Boulevard (Downtown). Entry for “Cruise Night” is free for spectators to take a stroll up and down the aisles of these classic cars.
If you can’t make it Thursday, enjoy “Show and Shine” on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Bridgewater Links Golf Course at London Bridge Resort. Here, you can see more than 800 classic cars and trucks from across the nation. In the evening, grab your dancing shoes for the Dinner/Dance featuring Crosscutt Music at the London Bridge Resort Convention Center.
On Sunday morning, grab a beach chair and head downtown to watch the classic cars make their way down Main Street for the “Parade Down Main” starting at 9 a.m.

Concerts in the Park
Date: Friday, October 20, 5-9 p.m.
Enjoy an evening filled with live music in the park, hosted by the Lake Havasu City firefighter charities!
This Friday, dance the night away at London Bridge Beach with the band One-Eyed Romeo (classic rock, contemporary pop). Gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert starts at 6 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the food, beer and wine vendors. No food, drinks, coolers or pets allowed in the enclosed area, and admission is free.

10th Annual Shopping Extravaganza
Date: Saturday, October 21, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
More than 30 vendors selling housewares, jewelry, clothing, handbags, gifts, food, art, and wellness and beauty will pack the Relics and Rods Hall at the Aquatic Center for a day of shopping! The event will also feature a raffle drawing for a grand prize of $500. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 with cash only and the winner does not have to be present to win. The raffle drawing will be held at 2:30 p.m. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 for smaller raffle prizes what will be on display with boxes in front of the prizes. 10th Annual Bridgewater Channel Underwater Cleanup
Date: Saturday, October 21, 6:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Looking to give back to the community? The Lake Havasu Divers Association will host the 10th Annual Bridgewater Channel Underwater Cleanup this Saturday! The Bridgewater Channel will be closed in this area for the safety of the divers and volunteers.
Land and dive volunteers are needed. Divers, please bring all dive gear, an extra tank, a catch bag, and dive flag. Divers can sign in between 6:30-6:45 a.m. at London Bridge Beach and land volunteers can sign in by 8 a.m. at London Bridge Beach.

Star Party
Date: Saturday, October 21, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Learn about the night sky with members of the Lake Havasu Astronomy Club at Cattail Cove State Park! The club will provide telescopes and guidance to help people experience the night sky.
The activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with potential sunspot viewing and dark sky viewing will start at approximately 6:30 p.m. The crescent moon is expected to provide the evening’s main attraction in addition to Saturn, popular stars and constellations. This event is weather permitting. Contact the park at 928-855-1223 for day-of information.
